      Verdict

      Rock Canyon went close at Ayr last time but had earlier finished behind Goninodaethat at the same track. The latter was beaten only a head by Blue Sonic on that occasion and has the beating of Captain Scooby on collateral form but has so far done all his winning at Ayr. HENRY MORGAN was beaten in a higher grade here last time but had scored over track and trip before that and David Brown's charge should be in the firing-line once again back at this level.
