      Verdict

      Spencers Wood took this twelve months ago and should have little difficulty in following up granted the poor level of opposition. Peter Makin's charge has not been at his best this term but has in excess of 37lb in hand over his rivals and need only reproduce his last time out third in a Doncaster conditions event to prevail with ease. Rosselli has had his problems and is not the force of old but still looks the one for the TEAMtalk forecast in a particularly weak affair for the prize money on offer.
