Verdict
A competitive line up for a valuable contest with a number of lightly raced and potentially well treated types in opposition but TEAMtalk preference is for Devious Boy. Patrick Haslam's charge has won three times on the track and has run creditably in the face of a stiff task in conditions events of late so should go well under a useful 5lb-claiming apprentice. Summer Lightning landed a 5f handicap here earlier in the month (Intellibet One and Robwillcall held) before finishing a fine second of 18 in a tough Doncaster nursery next time. The daughter of Tamure should give another good account despite a subsequent 4lb rise while B A Highflyer found trouble in running last time and is better than the bare form suggests so is another to consider.
