Verdict
A number of in-form rivals clash in an interesting contest but TEAMtalk preference is for Eton. The David Nicholls-trained gelding has hit a rich vein of form of late and is on to the hat-trick after recent wins at Pontefract and Beverley. The six-year-old has risen sharply in the weights but is still well treated on the pick of his best form and will take plenty of beating off his current mark. Cryfield took a similar event last time at Beverley (now 3lb higher) and should go close once again while recent winners Answered Promise and Double Ransom are relatively lightly raced and open to further progress so shouldn't be dismissed.
