The sprinters start off proceedings and we will chance JILLY WHY at the expense of Garstang and Red Rosanna. The selection ran with plenty of credit at Chester over an extended trip but she has the services of rising star, Martin Lane, and they and his requisite claim, could prove most appealing. Garstang seemed to have lost his way when trained by Peter Grayson. He has relished his racing since moving to the John Balding yard. Red Rosanna has ran creditably for some time and a Newmarket victory was deserved under the circumstances. A 4lb rise does not look unduly harsh. Rocketball has won two on the spin at Musselburgh. Dean Heslop was on board on those occasions and he is here this afternoon. Top Bid is not short of early pace. The rider of Darcy's Pride looked particularly tidy at Newmarket last weekend and he will be able to claim 7lbs again here. Darcy's Pride is tried in a first time tongue tie. Mazzola has shown form at this time of the season though is on something of a losing run. Jilly Why should be a working man's price and will give us a fair run for our money.
