    Verdict

It was soft ground when Chosen Character beat Multi Bene over track and trip last time and the latter may well reverse running on today's faster surface. Balducci is 11lb higher than when winning at Nottingham last month and Lesha's recent victory over course and distance came in lesser company. LIFE PARTNER has looked in the handicapper's grip on this year's efforts over 7f. But he's back over a mile for the first time since winning a maiden race at Doncaster last term and Charlie Appleby's charge may find a bit more as a consequence and take this.
