Verdict

WISHING AND HOPING made a winning start at Wincanton and was far from disgraced when fifth in a Listed race at Newbury subsequently. That looks better form that Vieux Lille's second in a four-runner race at Kempton and Bleu Et Noir's second at Fontwell. Palermo Don is a course and distance winner but was tailed off when last seen at Musselburgh and Petapenko needs more. Wicked Willy's stable won this last year so Nigel Twiston-Davies' newcomer is worth a market check as he's a half-brother to Saints And Sinners, who runs earlier on the card.
