In depth

Verdict

Clear Spring has a big penalty to carry and Intibaah enjoys a huge turnaround in the weights with the former than when beaten on soft ground here in May. Toofi's long absence is a worry but he could go well if ready and has more scope than the disappointing Musical Comedy. ALGAR LAD gets a token vote as he ran well in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot having been given plenty to do. He could land this if ridden closer to the pace. Angelic Lord looks the pick of the three-year-olds but has found life tough so far this season.
