In depth

Verdict

Mull Of Dubai is selected here ahead of Gull Wing and Wicked Daze. Mull Of Dubai looked a very-much improved performer when scooting to victory at Windsor last time on heavy going and, as such, he could still be well handicapped under his penalty. Just Lille comes here seeking a fifth-straight success and, even though her rrevised mark makes life a little harder, she is entitled to some thought. Gull Wing ran well under today's conditions from today's mark at Newbury last time and is entitled to respect, while Great Quest has a similar profile and, again, conditions will hold no fears. Caucasienne has not quite built on her Brighton win but it could be that she will enjoy a test at this trip, which she will get tonight, and despite having been raised six pounds for a narrow Newmarket defeat, Wicked Daze could still be reasonably treated so is not ruled out. Finally, Muraco showed progress in a Windsor maiden last time and could now improve further over tonight's longer trip. Once again, then, the selection is Mull Of Dubai.
