Verdict

In the fillies' handicap, Montrachet is selected ahead of Goodbye and Chip N Pin. In a modest event, Goodbye has shown enough to be given some thought from her current mark and, being a daughter of Efisio, she might appreciate the easy going tonight. Montrachet showed improved form to finish second over course and distance last time on similar going to tonight and she rates as very much a major player tonight. Spinneret probably needs to build on what she has so far shown if she is to win, but less so than all of remaining runners, although Tim Easterby's Chip N Pin has shown bits of form and might appreciate the easy going. Once again, though, the selection is Montrachet.
