Verdict
Atlantic Quest and Tough Love filled the first two places in a handicap at Musselburgh last month and have to be respected but neither has looked the most resilient in the past and they may be worth taking on with Halawellfin Hala, who takes a significant drop in class. The selection last ran in the Group 2 Bet attheraces Mile at Sandown when admittedly well held in eighth place of nine behind Desert Deer. This represents an altogether easier assignment though and off a mark of 89 he could be interesting. Tough Love has become particularly frustrating and, while deserving to win a decent prize, it was noticeable that he hung his head badly when beaten by Atlantic Quest at Musselburgh. The winner meets his rival on only 1lb worse terms for a neck so there should not be a great deal to chose between the two but Mark Johnston's gelding had shown very little prior to that and may not be one to trust implicitly. As William Haggas has his string in much better order now, Prince Hector has to be respected while Adobe and Style Dancer are both capable performers in this grade, who warrant respect.
