In depth
Verdict
Methaaly is an interesting newcomer but those with racing experience make more appeal with preference for Music By Mozart over Dallma. Methaaly is trained by William Haggas, who has his string in good order at present, and the son of Red Ransom is bred to be useful so may well be good enough to play a part in his debut. Opera Writer is becoming exposed now, while Home Sweet Home is bred to come into her own over middle distances next season. James Given's horses are coming into form now so his representative It's Gone would have to be considered although a bigger threat is likely to come from Dallma. Clive Brittain's filly has run to a fair standard in both her starts so far but Music By Mozart has not done much wrong and may do better back over six furlongs having seemingly failed to stay seven furlongs last time. Music By Mozart gets the vote.
