Verdict
Trojan Flight deserves to get his head in front but was never the easiest to win with when with Lynda Ramsden and nothing seems to have changed since joining the yard of David Chapman so he has to be watched with a safer bet looking to be Brigadore, who is preferred to Distant Times. Mick Kinane is an interesting jockey booking for the last mentioned who would have claims on the form shown when chasing home Geojimali at Carlisle last month, although a subsequent disappointing effort is of concern. Royal Orissa has slipped to a fair mark but has given little sign of encouragement of late, while Who's Winning is on a long losing sequence and has not had much respite from the handicapper. A market move for Apex would be of interest, while Danehill Stroller has run two fair races this term and comes from a yard now among the winners. Anything that David Nicholls sends out in this sort of contest has to be respected and Hiccups is no exception although a safer bet looks to be Brigadore who has run up to his best in his last two starts and remains on a fair mark.
