Verdict
Only for Gold won in the mud at Ayr just a year ago and will appreciate any rain which falls, while Guns Blazing made a successful debut at Bath last term for B McMahon and ran better than placings indicate when 10th over CD recently on first start for new connections. Bound to Please has registered four of his five wins on sand and is nowhere near as good on turf, but Arogant Prince comes from a stable in great form. He won four times on sand at Wolverhampton last winter and has netted victories on turf at Musselburgh and Newcastle. Fair sixth in a big field at Goodwood last week and a major player in this grade. Czar Wars beat Cape Coast by a length in this race two years ago and has won five times since then for J Balding.Beaten only a head over the minimum trip here in June and a close fourth at Doncaster latest so has a big chance.
