    Verdict

Songkran’s winning run came to an end at Newbury last time and all his earlier wins came on faster going. Baasem also disappointed at Newbury recently without any obvious excuse but Multellie placed off today’s mark in soft ground at Hamilton earlier. FRANSICO BAY will handle the underfoot conditions back on Turf after winning at Kempton and going close again at the same track last week. Ed de Giles charge may prove the one to side with Arabist and Rake's Progress hard to recommend.
