        Verdict

        It was fast going when Qasbaz won over 7f here last month but there was some cut in the ground when Mustaqbal beat previous winner Dreamseller at Ripon, though the latter re-opposes on better terms. Proclaimer has been thereabouts over 7f while Mountain Rescue beat Wightman in an amateurs' race at Salisbury, though the latter went on to land an apprentices’ race at the same track a week ago and escapes a penalty. VULCAN has yet to win but is creeping closer so, after missing out by a neck in a tougher race than this at Sandown last time, Harry Dunlop’s charge gets the vote.
