In depth

Verdict

Franchoek, President Dan and Hatton Flight are the three to focus on here with preference for Franchoek to continue his winning form. President Dan lost his maiden tag at Folkestone last time after some moderate efforts. That success came with give underfoot, and conditions may not be so suitable here. Hatton Flight was a beaten favourite at Redcar two outings ago over this trip, although only beaten a length, and he was staying on well when dropped back in trip last time. That run came after a break and he may be a little sharper here. Franchoek was beaten into third at these terms by President Dan at Folkestone but that was over a quarter mile less than here, and a subsequent two mile success at Nottingham suggests that this trip will enable Franchoek to turn the tables. Franchoek can score again.
