In depth

Verdict

Trais Fluors is in the veteran stage but is running well on quick ground, following a close third at Windsor with a comfortable victory at Goodwood last week for which he's unpenalised. He'll make a bold bid but the vote goes to BOBBY DASSLER. Tom Ward's charge was meeting fast ground for the first time when successful at Nottingham and a 3lb rise looks manageable. Redcar maiden winner Finbar's Lad will have needed his comeback at York, only his fourth start, while Olympicus showed a bit of potential for Joseph O'Brien though has a long absence to overcome.
