Verdict

JERRYSBACK has an alternative engagement at Ascot but connections will be hoping this meeting goes ahead as the Bangor winner looks to have outstanding claims on his second to the unbeaten Vinndication in a similar grade last time. Le Breuil never seems to run a bad race but has only won a match so far over the larger obstacles. Crucial Role was a very easy winner at Uttoxeter so can’t be ignored but the mare Castafiore may find this company too hot, though her Wincanton victory has been franked. Slate House made his chasing debut in a very hot race at Plumpton and will know more today so shouldn’t be ignored.
