Verdict

Ventura Diamond finished a place behind Last Empire in this grade at Nottingham, despite the benefit of a previous outing, and is worse off at the weights today. Kevin Ryan’s colt could easily go one better but DANDALLA was a high-class juvenile and she is unpenalised for winning a Group 2 at Newmarket last summer. She missed the break when tried over 7f in the Fred Darling last month and a return to sprinting is in her favour. Twilight Spinner is the least exposed and was impressive at Ripon but this will require a huge step forward.
