Verdict
If the Mark Johnston yard were in better form then Always Dazzling would be more interesting in this, his second start in a handicap, but he may have to wait until things pick up where the yard is concerned and we will side with FRONTLINE BOY, while Whitechapel can get heavily involved. The last-named sees Paul Hanagan team up with local trainer Eric Alston for the second time today, and after some reasonable efforts in maidens he goes handicapping for the first time from a mark of 70. The step-up in trip looks a positive and he should go very close to winning. Nadinska is down 2lbs after being thrashed in this sphere last time and should be able to show more if her maiden runs are any guide, while Redden needs a market check and the same applies to Italian seller winner Sapperton. However, finding our favour in the last is Frontline Boy. John Weymes has been among the winners lately, and this One Cool Cat gelding can benefit from some faster ground and a 2lb drop in the weights since his Musselburgh pipe-opener to take this prize.
