Verdict
A dual course and distance winner including last year's renewal, Postscript is back on a winning mark and has a leading chance. He's been in better form recently than when a long way behind third-placed BASSETERRE over track and trip in May, but the latter is still fancied to confirm superiority as he drops down in class. Charlie Hills' colt also makes more appeal than The Osteopath who beat the re-opposing Le Chat D'Or by the narrowest of margins at Newcastle in April. It's anybody's guess what to expect from the enigmatic Copperwood as he finished a tailed off last in between a couple of recent wins while Ewell Place continues to plummet down the weights without so far showing any improvement.
