Verdict

BRAVE ACCLAIM looks the safest option on his handicap debut. Tom Dascombe's colt landed a maiden over track and trip earlier this month and is preferred to another course and distance winner in Polar Chief. The latter ran no sort of race on his return to action, however, and may need more time before we see the best of him. Jubilee Games and Hunting Rights have both done their winning over shorter trips so far but Mandy's Boy looks to have decent claims on his close-up third at Newbury last week.
