In depth

Verdict

A competitive field goes to post for the first on the card with many in form rivals in opposition including Our Dream, Countess Camila and Lettia's Loss and the confident vote goes to Our Dream. The filly by Bob Back was a good second behind Tisho last time and with the extra furlong sure to be in her favour she will be hard to beat. Countess Camila rates the main danger on her best form but she was slightly disappointing when well beaten behind Druids Confederacy last time out. However she will appreciate this much longer trip and is better off at the weights with that rival here. Druids Confederacy was also disappointing last time when a well beaten odds on favourite at Wetherby, the trainer blamed the trip on that occasion so she to should improve for this longer trip. Lettia's Loss won well over three miles three furlongs last time at Sedgefield but will need to improve again to win this very competitive affair. Of the remainder Classic China is one of the least exposed in the field and is open to plenty of improvement but we are happy to side with Our Dream.
