Verdict
A competitive bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these events the market will prove a good guide but the newcomers will have to be of a fair standard to defeat the last time out winners Monteforte and Indy Mood and we will side with Monteforte. The gelding from the Jim Old yard was an impressive winner on his debut when defeating Riders Revenge and although he has a penalty for that win he will be hard to beat with conditions again in his favour. Indy Mood is also worthy of respect he also won well last time out when defeating Gary's Pimpernel but that was on fast ground and he is not sure to get that here so for that reason he is opposed. Millenaire is a five-year -old by Mister Mat. He is from a top yard and is worth a look in the market. Layasar is also worthy of respect he has shown enough in two similar events to have definite place claims but in a race where the market may well tell all we will side with Monteforte.
