Verdict
A tough race to call here for punters with not much between many of the rivals on their best form but the principals look to be Ballylusky, His Nibs and Major Drive and we will side with His Nibs. The gelding hails from the bang in form Venetia Williams yard and he was a fair fourth in a much better race behind Mistanoora and off what a looks a fair mark he will be hard to beat.Ballylusky rates the main danger he has been chasing of late without totally convincing with his fencing. He switches back to hurdles here and he could go well but he looks to have plenty of weight for what he has actually achived. Major Drive is also worthy of respect he won well last time out when defeating Jordan's Ridge. However this is much more competitive and he will find it harder under his penalty so for that reason is opposed. Of the remainder Zero Risk was a fair second behind Cotopaxi last time and remains at the right end of the handicap. Crazy Horse would have a chancew on his best form but he has looked a shadow of his former self of late so can not be backed with any confidence so for the winner we return to His Nibs.
