      Verdict

      Point Hope has a penalty for a narrow victory at Wolverhampton and the form may not be up to much. CONTRIVE makes a quick reappearance after an eye-catching run over 7f at Newbury last week where she stayed on nicely once getting the hang of the job. With improvement virtually guaranteed she looks the one to beat. Fondest and Labrega both showed enough last season to suggest they can win races this term while the 110,000gns Four White Socks is one to note from the Cumani yard. Dear Beloved made 30,000gns as a yearling and 200,000gns as a two-year-old so someone must have seen something they liked.
