Verdict
Mick Easterby has his horses up and running early this season and Gulf Of Poets won a Class 4 at Pontefract in good style on Monday though he's never won at this level and has a penalty to carry. CUSTOM CUT has won 13 times and mostly races at a higher level than this. He won a Group 2 at Sandown on his reappearance in 2015 and hopefully will be ready to do himself justice. Red Label has the benefit of a recent run and is another who was plying his trade in good company last term so he has to be considered while High Acclaim beat a huge field at Doncaster so a 5lb rise looks lenient.
