        Verdict

        Once again, this looks competitive, with Silver Wind selected over Our Acquaintance and Regal Rhythm. Much as Artsu's rating might be a shade on the high side, her latest defeat possibly came as a consequence of the race coming too soon for her, and her win that preceded it was gained on soft going. Our Acquaintance comes here in good heart as a soft-ground winner and gets plenty of respect, while Regal Rhythm is proving very consistent and, with his rating looking fair, is another to consider. Silver Wind found only the progressive Mr Keppel too good for him at Newbury last time and, with him having proven that he acts on soft, he looks a danger to all. Eager Diva is a potential improver back in trip on this surface, and Nickel Silver earns plenty of respect based on his first two runs and there could have been excuses for his latest disappointing effort. Once again, though, the selection is Silver Wind.
