Verdict
Longshanks, Tonoco and Cracking Dawn look the principals in a tight affair. However with those three runners both liking to force the pace we will take a chance on the course specialist Cassia Heights. The eight year old was a good second behind Satshoon over a trip longer than ideal last time and now he returns to as more suitable distance he is taken to score. Tonoco rates the main danger he was a good second behind Skippers Cleuch last time. However he was let down by his jumping on that occasion and for that reason he is opposed. Longshanks could also go well. He has been in the form of his life of late but all his best form has been over a shorter trip and he may not get home with plenty of front runners in the field. Cracking Dawn is another that could go well but he was never going on his return from injury last time so can not be backed with any confidence. So in a tight handicap we are happy to side with Cassia Heights.
