Verdict
A small but competitive field goes to post for this novices chase and all would have a chance on their best form but the principals look to be Temple Dog, Better Days and You're Special and we will take a chance on Temple Dog. The gelding from the Tom Tate yard was a fair hurdler, will like the ground and is sure to have been well schooled for this his chasing debut. Better Days would have won here a couple of runs ago but for taking a crashing fall at the last. He has since been third behind Caracciola and is sure to appreciate the step back up in trip. You're Special is from a yard in form but he will find it difficult to give weight and a beating to some less exposed sorts. Atlantic Crossing is better than his form figures would suggest and if he puts in a clear round he will not be far away, but in a tight affair we are happy to side with the unexposed Temple Dog.
