Verdict
A fairly competitive event of it's type with Tumbleweed Glen just preferred over Fast King, Jaboune and Atum Re. Formerly a useful hurdler, Peter Kelsall's Tumbleweed Glen showed that he still retains plenty of ability when finishing second in handicap chase over course and distance last month and a reproduction may suffice with doubts over his main rivals. Fast King has claims on the pick of his hurdling form but appeared to lose his way last term and made an inauspicious start to his chasing career when a well beaten faller at Newton Abbot last month. Jaboune was below his best last time at Aintree but is a smart hurlder at his best and has to be feared if taking to the larger obstacles while Atum Re is another interesting chasing debutante after showing useful form over timber.
