In depth
Verdict
Ethiopia won a chase earlier in the year but was less than fluent last time out and despite Nathan Sweeney taking 7lbs off his back he is watched on this occasion. Winter Star has performed brilliantly over the hurdles in the past and was ultra consistent before taking a protracted break and the market will be the best guide to his chances. He certainly isn't ruled out of making a sparkling chasing debut. Marado and No Reception have shown little in chase runs so far but Michael Hourigan wouldn't send Flying Johnny M here if he didn't stand a chance. He has shown signs that he is beginning to get the hang of chasing and enters calculations. JOB ONE gets the vote ahead of Chevy To The Levy. Both horses have been hit and miss in chase runs so far but Job One is the selection after winning well at Stratford most recently.
