In depth
Verdict
Green Tango, Yes Sir and Muhtenbar look the three to concentrate on in this beginners chase and the confident vote is given to Green Tango. The selection was a fair second behind Cornish Sett last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and he need only run up to that mark to score. Yes Sir rates the main danger on his latest second behind Briery Fox. He is sure to have been well schooled and he should be noted in the market with his yard in top form. Muhtenbar is another that could go well on his latest second behind Villon but he has only competed the course in one of his last three runs so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Don't Be Shy is held in very high regard but he has shown only a modicum of ability over hurdles of late and he will need to improve dramatically for the switch to fences if he is to score. This is a trappy affair and the market will be very informative but for the winner we return to Green Tango.
