Verdict

There are so many out of form horses here and so it could pay to follow recent winner Apadi, Aristi and Travello could be the best alternatives. Apadi displayed great determination to win at Huntingdon last time out and although not getting any younger he may be capable of further progression. Aristi is from an in form yard and did well last time out to finish a close up third behind the unexposed Sono. The drop in trip is a slight concern but he should still be in the firing line. Travello is another from a yard amongst the winner and he should appreciate this drop in class. Rifleman is an enigmatic performer but would go very close on his best form and looks the pick of the others. So not a race to place too much of the hard earned, but Apadi does look to have strong claims and he gets our vote.
