Verdict

Not too many of these can confidently be supported and the selection of Fabrezan is arrived at simply because he is the best of a modest bunch. Novatara, The Fenman and Aliabad all have place claims on the best of their form but are unreliable and are passed over today for win only purposes. The same comments apply to Barcham Again, who is capable of improvement but has been done no favours by the terms of the race and will do well to give weight away all round. Therefore, Fabrezan, who is well suited to going right handed, looks the most reliable character to give his running. The five-year-old has a fine record of placed efforts to his name over hurdles but will not need to better his recent exertions by much to score in this company.
