          Verdict

          Formerly trained by Nicky Henderson, Red Hare is clearly on the downgrade nowadays, but even he has a squeak in this, as does the likes of pensioner Bolshie Baron, but a chance is taken with winning pointer Raka King, even though he has yet to complete in three outings over regulation fences. He at least comes into this in some sort of form, unlike the majority of his rivals. Bolshie Baron ran well for a long way in a Hunter Chase at Huntingdon last month and although he is getting no younger, he is a safe conveyance and has place claims, while Red Hare is undoubtedly well treated on his best form, but he has only beaten one horse home in his last four outings and is best watched for the time being. Akina hasn't been running too badly between the flags, but there is a suspicion he may find this ground on the fast side for him. This is as poor as it gets and most of these will struggle to get out of each others way.
