Verdict

CANNNI THINKAAR may be able to make light of a 15lb rise and get the better of Old Brigade and Roaming West. The connections of Jim Best's runner owed a vote of thanks to Jamie Moore for a remarkable performance in getting Canni Thinkaar home at Huntingdon after a bad mistake early on and the pair did wonders to get up and score narrowly. The form is solid for the grade, he's been competitive from similar marks in the past and has been given plenty of time to recover. Old Brigade has been lightly raced but has shown promise in a handful of starts and is on a fair enough mark; the yard has been amongst the winners and he has conditions to suit. Roaming West stayed on strongly in testing conditions to score over an extended two miles at Exeter and has escaped with just a 9lb rise; she needs to prove that wasn't a flash in the pan as well as having her stamina to prove but her pedigree offers hope on that score and she should go well. Bankers Bonus was behind that day but is worth checking for support over this longer trip, Paradise Expected has claims back over timber and Saulty Max may fare better now handicapping but preference is for Canni Thinkaar.
