Verdict
Summer Bounty can defy topweight over Manoram, with the rest having nothing to offer on past form. Summer Bounty was fit from the Flat when bouncing off the fast ground at Towcester in October, but paid the penalty when upped 12lbs on a return there later that month. Even so, he would surely have taken a hand had he not made a mistake three out, and is worth another chance here. The younger Manoram has not been seen since June and is likely to need the run. However, he looked a progressive sort when making his first venture into handicap company a winning one at Worcester in May, and is the only other one in with a shout. Summer Bounty should be able to add to his spoils here though and is a confident pick.
