Verdict
SYNCOPATED RHYTHM is the call ahead of Huckleberry and Sabreflight. Three miles should hold few fears for Nigel Twiston Davies charge and while there is the worry that his best performances may come when fresh, the handler has found a very ordinary contest for him to aim at. Huckleberry stays longer than the mother in law. He made all at Hexham though was punished heavily by the handicapper as a consequence. Sabreflight was a fair hurdler on his day though sadly that aptitude has not made it through to his chasing career. The Langer was never sighted at Cheltenham and this is a more realistic option. Sydney Greenstreet never built upon any of the bumper promise he showed when with Charlie Egerton. Gray's Eulogy is on a losing run of a number of years. Builteoir was not totally disgraced in a novice hurdle at Lingfield and is the sort that Evan Williams invariably manages to engineer a winning chance or two for. This is a very moderate race in which Syncopated Rhythm is offered up as only the most token of selections.
