    Verdict

Saint Romble gets the call here ahead of Deliceo and Kelatan. The selection, a French winner, has done reasonable well in 10 British starts, winning twice, including at Worcester last time rated 90. Raised five pounds for that, Padge Brennan takes off a useful three, so he rates selection material. Deliceo won over course and distance last time and, while he has been raised eight pounds for it, can still go well as he has a likeable attitude. Kelatan is a winning hurdler and his best effort in two chase starts came at Newbury last time behind Friday's Ascot winner Ballyrobert. He's certainly one for the shortlist. Jonjo O'Neill's Diversity has made no show in four starts, Billywill was second last time in a weak Folkestone handicap, while Big Max was respectable over hurdles but he has not won for two years now. All in all, Saint Romble gets our vote.
