Verdict

Famoso was odds on making his racecourse debut at Chepstow but finished tailed off. He is surely capable of better but Flying Nun fared better at Fontwell and a few of the newcomers have decent pedigrees including Colin Tizzard’s £105,000 Getaway gelding Sherborne, who is a half-brother to three winners and shouldn’t be short of stamina. MISS FISHER is a half-sister to the stable’s smart hurdler/chaser Mister Fisher and she will know her job so gets the nod.
