Verdict
EMERALD FOX has been raised 6lb for a comfortable victory over a mile here earlier this month and shouldn't be inconvenienced by the step-up in trip so gets the nod. Lady Morpheus has been in good form over a mile but she's yet to prove she stays this far unlike dual course and distance winner Famous Dynasty though the latter has been well beaten the last twice here. Mojambo was bought out of a Wolverhampton seller and hasn't been seen since January but Arabescato is back on the same mark as his track and trip victory the same month, his only visit to the track, and Silvestre De Sousa is an interesting booking. Yagood, a winner in France, ran his best race for Roger Ingram at Chelmsford so should be suited by the surface. Gold Standard looks best of the remainder.
