        Verdict

        Mummy's Boy was noted making late progress over 7f at Kempton and will have come on nicely for the experience, a remark that also applies to Crane, who looked very green on his debut on the same track. La Forza was taken off his feet over 7f there a fortnight ago but stayed on once getting the hang of the job. Without Revenge makes his debut on the surface after a couple of reasonable runs on Turf but this shouldn't take much winning and ALTO VOLANTE, a half-brother to seven winners, mostly at around this trip, is taken to make a successful debut. Sir John Bowdler, a half-brother to three winners in the USA, is another newcomer to keep an eye on.
