Verdict
Chapeltown has been found a suitable opportunity and gets the vote over Full On, with Shalako and What's The Count best of the rest. Irish bumper winner Chapeltown created a big impression when making a winning start on his British debut at Newbury four years ago but has failed to live up to expectations, despite scoring a further two times over hurdles. He made his chase debut at the age of 12 just this month, winning a moderate affair at Taunton, but ran well in defeat against Polar Red at Exeter a fortnight ago on ground that was too fast for him and has conditions in his favour here. The much younger Full On will be a threat though based on his staying on effort behind Mounsey Castle at Sandown, while Imperial Cup sixth Shalako is sure to have been well schooled for his chase debut and can also play a part. There would not be any long term plans for Chapeltown however, and connections will take what they can before he retires. He can set out and make all despite his penalty.
