Verdict
Bob's Lad, Ken'tucky and Champagne Harry look the three to concentrate on in this beginners chase and the vote goes to the last named. The selection is from a yard in top form is sure to have been well schooled for this his chasing debut and is taken to score under conditions that suit. Bob's Lad rates the main danger on his latest third behind Romany Dream but he looked very one paced on that occasion and even accounting for the step up in trip he will need to improve to score. Ken'tucky was a fair sort over hurdles and is another that could go well but he tended to need his first run of the season over hurdles and for that reason he is opposed. Estupendo and Dark Island both have long absences to overcome and can not be backed with any confidence and for the winner we return to Champagne Harry.
