Verdict
If Sir Lamb could run to within a stone of his excellent short-head second to the classy Intersky Falcon last season he would have the look of a certainty in this event. However, Sally Hall's gelding is far from reliable and isn't one to get too heavily involved although he could run away with this if in the mood. The percentage call is probably Billie John who showed improved form to score here three weeks ago and should be well suited by the drying ground. Trivial got off the mark at Perth last time but is unlikely to be improving at ten years of age and might ideally prefer a little further.
