Verdict

Not the ideal 'getting out stakes' on a long card but hopefully KALAHARRY can give us a good run. He was blitzed by Beyondtemptation but won't be the last to receive that treatment and previous efforts around here afford him a solid chance. He has more scope than the majority of his rivals and looks on a fair mark, although he's yet to prove his stamina for this trip which is a concern, so stakes should be conservative. Heart O Annandale specialises in coming on and off the bridle in races which can make life difficult for his pilot but he's sure to be staying on when others are not and is shortlisted after a recent win. Eager To Know has a chance on an improved last effort off his lowly perch with Final Fling another lightly-raced type who could improve. Vic's Last Stand is exposed but is consistent and should be in the mix.
