Verdict
EVELITH ECHO, Doris's Gift and Flemross make the shortlist here, with Evelith Echo getting the vote to follow up a very taking winning debut over the bigger obstacles. Doris's Gift showed battling qualities to score over hurdles last time, and stamina is undoubted. This grey gelding has been unable to translate that form to fences however and is taken on. Flemross has managed an Irish point to point success in 10 starts to date but he is one paced. There were signs of an improvement with a good third last time, and he can hit the frame. Evelith Echo, decent over hurdles, turned in a fine jumping display and a good turn of foot when scoring at a nice price at Wetherby. A reproduction of that fine performance will be good enough here for Evelith Ech to land this.
