Verdict
A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Blue Rising, Looking Forward and Barracat and the narrow nomination is given to Blue Rising. The selection was a fair fourth behind Prestbury Knight last time out. That form looks solid and off what looks a fair mark he looks a value bet. Looking Forward rates the main danger as he beat Carroll's O'Tully last time out. However that form has since been let down and he looks vulnerable under his penalty. Barracat has place claims on his best form but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time out. However he could improve for the fitting of first time blinkers. Cumbrian Knight has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but he is very one paced. Fourpointone hails from a shrewd yard and is another to note in the market while Fairy Skin Maker could go well after a 614 day break but for the winner we return to Blue Rising.
